    Hi,

I would like to get some live ostracods / seed shrimps culture, to add into my planted tank.
And also as live food feed for fish fries in other tanks.

Does anyone knows where I can get them in Singapore?

    Thanks for help.

    Hi,

To those who PMed me, and those who are still interested.

Yes, I managed to find on a local online marketplace Carousell.
I bought 2 cultures about a month back, and it's quite easy to breed them.

Not sure if it's still available, you can try and search on Carousell

    Hi Norah,

Would you happen to have any tips? I've also been struggling to find them, and am looking for good quality food and activity for my chilli rasbora.

    Hi Peg-ace,

I found ostracods from a carousel seller, about 3-4 months ago. And I manage to keep a few cultures, and use it as live food for my small fish. So far so good, the cultures won't be enough to feed the fish everyday, but it's reproducing enough to harvest them and feed the fishes 2-3 times a week. It's fairly easy to keep the ostracods alive, some days there might be a boom and you get alots of it, and some days the numbers seems to be lesser. Hope this helps
