    hi to all , i m NEW MEMBER HERE. I have a 5ft juwel tank wanted to start a planted tank , but was left empty for two years . Will there be any problem?

    Let the water stand in there for a few days to be sure. Test out your filter and other equipment as well.

    It should be fine as long as there is no leak.
    Also, the lighting set up for Juwel tank could be too weak for 5ft planted tank. You might want to check whether it would be easy to get additonal light or light-case to place on top of your existing one. To increase the lighting..

    The most important thing to check for a dry tank is the silicone joint. Check that there are no peeling of the silicone at any part of the tank. Lighting wise check with Juwel supplier for T5 lighting upgrades.

    Is there a T5 lighting upgrades for Juwel Tank? Would be interested if there is such a product.

    testing

    Thanks to all bros n sis , I have loaded the tank with 90% water n look solid. btw i have two jbj 5ft light with 3tube on it. Is for planted? white light.thanks

    Check the kelvin rating on the bulbs. Anything from about 5000k to 8000k should be enough but the best is 6500k.

    hi , i need some advise . What size (co2) tank can be use for 5ft x 20ft x 2ft . thanks

    Bro , are you refering to per tube kelvin rating ? than x3 tube? I have total 6tube . If above 8000k can anot? thanks
