Hi. Besides using puffer fish, I have heard using cucumber to attract the snails to a plate and then remove them. But will the cucumber spoil the water or is it safe doing that. Please advise. Thank you.

Don't put an entire cucumber in... just a few slices. Make sure the cucumber is fresh and not already rotting.

Make sure your filter is mature. Probably not a good idea for a new tank.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

stick in five mini puffers and look ma no snails. in hindsight, the small rounded snails were good. good for my altums. crush snails and drop back in. altums snack... they spit back out the shell. cool to watch.
use the cucumbers, then if you have altums or other fish like boesman rainbows.. enjoy the show.
