Nice tank! I "noticed" it among the many tanks in the vivarium post lately.
Do you run filter or CO2?
BTW - I also noticed those red-nosed fish lately in fish shops. What's the name? Any information about them in the web?

Hey ya guys, it's been a while since the last tank. So for this one, i'm bringing over one of the tanks from "planted paradises" to a new thread.
Here's the tank after 4 months with NO CO2 under 36WPL and running on a sponge filter. Fauna includes my adorable loaches as well as my red noses and the gorgeous endlers in it.
Regards,
Phillip.

Nice layout! How often you trimmed the plants to keep them that low?

Thanks Ranmasatome, just to add these fishes love very clean waters and highly oxygenated waters also. They do exceptionally well in groups of minimum 6 as the alpha will then lead the group. Also, when fully stable, their bodies are a shimmering light blue coupled with an intense red "nose" and 2 distinctive red dots on their tail fin.
Here's a closeup on a few of them in the tank.
And here's the tank initially 4 months ago. .......absolute wreck i must say![]()
The tank needed pruning back every week and over time, the leaves size reduced to almost 50% and side shoots appeared slowly. I trimmed it back keeping the shape and now after 4 months it's come to this stage.
There's still a few more gaps that needed to be filled in but soon in time, it'll be much more denser.
Regards,
Phillip.
