    Celticfish, that is a black styrofoam backdrop i'm using. Commonly sold in our LFS.

    What is the brand of your gravel/subtrate used ? It seems like 2 types being used.

    'Base fert' is actually lapis sand mixed with a tub of JBJ fetiliser while the gravel is crystal quatz sand.

    Nice arrangement of driftwood! I think Java fern bunch can be improved though. Make it more "bushy", so the mound layout is emphasised.

    If you are referring to the bunch of narrow leaf on the left, i am indeed waiting for it to grow lusher

    As for the tropical on the right, the bunch is already very bushy, up to the extent that i have to do periodical trimming.
