    Hi,
I have a 4ft planted tank. I have rummy nose and cardinals, and 1 "mini" pleco. I am thinking of getting a bristlenose pleco.
Anyone know where can I buy this? What is the price range?
Anyone know what size can it grow up to?

    Thanks.

    There's a list on this thread (http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...t=Aquatic+Farm)

It's best to drive, but there's a bus from Chua Chu Kang which goes to Lim Chu Kang Rd and then you can walk in to Gan's from there.

For price, I think it's best you ask the shops/farms directly and compare. They are the ones who are selling the fish, not us.

    Hi,
I got 2 bristlenose from Gan's and some Cardinals to 'Top Up' my existing stock in my 4ft tank. I talked to Gan (I think he is the one), and asked him about dying Cardinals.
Some of my existing Cardinals grow for about 6mths to a year and the body began to bent, like a inverted "V" shape.
Gan told me that it is due to the food that I fed them.

Can anyone here who are Cardinal experts tell me what kind of food is good for cultivating Cardinals?

    Thanks.

For cardinals, a variety of food is good for them. Utilise live foods if you can, combined with dried foods like sinking pellets or flakes. Do not feed them everyday because their fat accumulates in the body and this may not be good for them.

In the wild they do not get to eat everyday and everytime they eat, it is a must otherwise they will die. In captivity we tend to overfeed them, thats why they develop bloat or some other problem and eventually die.

When I talked to Gan, it seems like he was refering to the "Quality" of the food. I do not like to mention which is no good, but he said that those from German are the better ones.

i feed my fishes only once every 2 days..
i like to give them a certain brand from japan that starts with H..
Albeit a little mroe expensive but it last a long time and the protein content is really high comparatively.
