    I use red sea KH n it doesnt really work. Instead of colors, the water remains transparent, totally like no chemical reaction

    All test kits have short shelf-life. Hot and humid weather has far greater detrimental impact.

    your's probably spoilt, return it to the shop you bought it. I had exactly the same experience with RedSea kit. Bought it from PetMart, didn't show any sign. Took it back to auntie and exchanged for the Sera one.

    I use aquarium pharmacuetical Inc's products. So far so good.
    Something about the water & the fishes that calms me down.

    I think they are all reasonably good - provided you get fresh stock !
    I learnt the lesson now that I only buy test kit from shops that have aircon : ) The cool temperature help preserve the test kit shelf life.
    One such shop is inside Thomson Plaza. So far all the Sera test kit I bought there works excellantly well.

    i had bad experiences with red sea kh test kit and some of their fresh water products. they are known for their marine salt though.
