if you intending to keep moss as your setup, taiwan moss and spiky moss are rather fast growing plants too. Can consider plant more moss. Or what kind of scape you trying to have??
for the algae issue, have you consider other factors, ie lighting, co2....etc? plant heavily(more plants) or introduce fast growing plants be an options for you

Are you looking for plants to absorb the excess nutrients?
This is not a long term solution, proper water management is still required.

But if you are looking for plants to absorb the excess nutrients as a temporary solution, then perhaps get some floating plants such as water hyacinth or water lettuce. This is because they will be easy to remove in the future

Getting fast growing plants in high plant mass right from the start will certainly help in reducing algae problem.

There are lots of fast growing plants. Save for those exotic plants, most commonly seen stem plants are fast growing. I would recommend rotala sp. 'green'. You can see growth by inches, counting by days. Another very fast growing plant is water sprite ( Ceratopteris thalictroides ). If you are not careful with maintenance, it will overrun the whole tank Water sprite is a very good starter plant.

Most Hygrophila spp. would be good. Hygrophila polysperma and H.difformis can be easily found in most LFS. Limnophila sesifloria is another good example...
