I don't know the plant name, but for sure it isn't an aquatic plant because I've read about it and seen it before online.
It dies in a few weeks.
Bought this from market fish shop, just to add color to tank. But unsure whether it is a water plant. Pls enlighten me. It comes tied to a wood, I have remove the wood and just stick it into the gravel.

Other than green and red and brown, there's no other colour that I know of
Try Ludwigia arcuata, Hemainthus micranthemoides etc...

E. tenellus? Good lighting = reddish brown hue.
Hi Peter, you can get Cryptocoryne wendtii "Tropica", its brown with some shade of green. IMO a very beautiful plant and it won't grow very tall.
This is one of those terrestrial plants which are sold as aquatic plant. A Hemgraphis sp.
Thanks u guys for helping.
I have problem remembering scientific name of plants. Common name will do slightly better. Picture will be wonderful.
Any recommendation, where we can get good bargain on aquatic plants. Not fish farm - transportation problem. Housing estate will be good.![]()

There are many good LFS spread across the island. Some of the more reputable ones are C328 in the West, Far East Aquatic and Nature Aquarium in the Central, Wu Hu and Biotope in the South and Y618 in the North. You should be able to get good bargins at these LFSes.![]()
