Going to start a planted tank. Got T5 casing left over from marine tank. Question is can T5 be use for plants? Wat brand? Range? Where? Price? Any recommendations. Thanks.

T5 can be used for planted too. But ur tube has to be from 6500k to 10000K for planted tank. marine tube are usually 20k and not suitable for planted. Maybe u can try Nature aquarium, it sells alot of light set.

Just reuse your light set and change the tube to 6500 can liaoz...
Just go to your regular marine shop which you used to patronise and use for white light... 10K also suitable... The plants will adept to it...
