I've just recently switched to Seachem Prime to dechlorinate tap water, and was surprised how little it took - accroding to the instruction on the bottlle : 5ml per 200 Liter. Other brands I familiar with usually state 10x as much (5ml per 20 liter).
Also I did not see a lot of bubbling ('gasing') out of the water after adding it. But so far fishes and critters seem alright even I added directly to the tank while filling up.

Different products have different instructions and react differently.

I don't understand the bubbling thing that you are asking. I assume you must have used some other products before and *that* product introduces "foaming" in the water. If their contents were the same, then there wouldn't be different brands right?

As an example, a very small bottle of 118ml of Genesis actually treats 2000 gallons. Seachme Prime 500ml that treats 5000 gallons. By comparison, 1ml of Genesis treats 17 gallons and 1ml of Seachem Prime treats 10 gallons. So obviously, different products have different instructions.

    Nothing to worry about.

Been using Seachem Prime. Yes, 5ml per 200L of water, no problem.
It's a good product, use it with no worries.
