Thanks all for the info. Based on the infomation you've provided, I've found it!
Mine was the bumble bee nerite. Very effective in removing algae!

Maybe you can post few of your snail photo here to share around? So far, I only have golden apple snail, trumpet snail, mud snail (trap door snail) and zebra snail (nerite).
it looks exactly like the one shown in the hyperlink

Hi there was a discussion on this snail a while back in AQ.
Seems like they may cause some problems if they decide to lay eggs in your tank.
Here's the thread

Thanks, now I'm really confused. I did check with the shopkeeper. See what the website has to say.
Q. Do all snails breed like rabbits?
No! This is a myth as most people first encounter pest snails which hitch hike their way in on aquarium plants. Apple snails require a mate of the opposite sex to breed, so one snail on its own will not reproduce. Apple snails also require an area above the waterline to lay their eggs, so by denying them this their eggs will not survive.
Nerite snails will not reproduce in the aquarium environment as they have a larval stage which requires brackish conditions to survive (not available in a freshwater aquarium!)

apparently the eggs of the nerite snails will not hatch in normal tank conditions, thus remaining as an unsightly bucnh on your tank walls etc

I was able to breed apple snail. And its true to wat they mention. I got two nerite, which were unable to breed, as I was unable to create blackish enviroment.
