Question on CO2 cylinder and regulator stuff

I have CO2 cylinder with double gauges solenoid regulator, one gauge show 1000 PSI and the other show 35 PSI. I read from other thread mention that first gauge show the cylinder pressure (1000 PSI) and the other show the output pressure (35 PSI)

1) If I turn off the main valve, should the gauge drop to 0? mine is not
2) How to set the output pressure (35 PSI)
3) Do you usually turn the main valve all the way on or just little bit, just enough for the CO2 gas to come out?
4) What is needle valve? Is that the small knob near to the CO2 output (after the solenoid)?

It will drop to 0 after all the gas trapped within the regulator at the side of the gas input is used up. Meaning that if gas is still trapped in there although your main valve is off, there will be a reflection of some pressure in there.

You can't, not as I know of. It is controlled by the internal diaphram of the regulator.

3) Do you usually turn the main valve all the way on or just little bit, just enough for the CO2 gas to come out?

I personally turn 1 revolution just to make sure that the main valve is indeed opened. Personal phobia that if I turn all the way, the value might be blown off!

there is a metal knob at the front of the regulator which has 8 sides and can be adjusted by a wrench with the Azoo one

I turn it complete up. It seems the best was I was told, makes sure the pressure is stable, and not needing to worry that it will close by itself

Correct. Allows for fine adjustments

I saw big metal thing at the front of the regulator, has 6 sides. I'm not sure if it can be adjusted using wrench and don't dare to try, let it be as it is .

35 psi should be sufficient for difussing co2.

no reason, i was reading some thread saying that he set his output pressure to 50PSI. So I just wondering how to do that with my regulator.

I have 2 JBJ solenoid regulators. Both look the same but have different output pressure, 1 is 30+/- psi and the other 50psi.

Perhaps there are different pressure output models, but we just didn't take note of that. You know, things like a different last digit on the model number kind of thing.

FWIW, I prefer the lower output pressure gauge. It is easier to set bubble count as I have to make more turns to increase the bubble count. On the 50psi, just a touch and the count jumps 20 bubbles more. Very difficult to Gradually increase the bubble count on this gauge.
