    Help!

I bought shrimps yesterday, and I used aged water of 1 day, and placed my shrimps into them. However, the next day, half of my shrimps passed away, the rest are simply not moving, not grazing, just stoning there. I got 5 more adult shrimps, placed them inside, and they too stopped moving at all! Can anyone tell me whats wrong with my shrimps? I tested my water parameters, everytime seems fine, except that its a tad acidic. Around 6.4 pH. After 1 day, the shrimps still not moving, now I really don't know what to do! Please respond asap

Filter doesn't contain the proper bacteria?

What do you mean by "I used aged water of 1 day"? Did you cycle your tank? You need to cycle the water for at least 2 weeks or even 4 weeks for the beneficial bacteria to colonize your filter media before putting shrimp in.

My thoughts on this is that he/she is using a small tank with no filteration...

Even if you use aged water with acceptable PH it does not mean that your Shrimps will survive...

I suggest you read up a bit before continuing with keeping Shrimp...
