hmm... maybe the pump spoiled/burned, does the impeller vibrate when you turn it on?
Dear all
I recently bought an Eden 501 for my Nano tank. Was working fine until I left it running without water accidentally during one of my water change.
By the time I discovered , the unit was very hot and stopped running. I switched it off immediately and after cooling, I realised it was no longer working! sob!
I checked the impeller and found it was very tight and wont rotate easily . Is there anyway to revive my Eden 501? So sad, I used it only less then 1 week.

When I try to pull out the impeller when it is switched on, I can feel the magnetic force. I try to spin it with my fingers, it worked at times, but the impeller just cannot spin freely without any of my assistance.
Wonder if the hole for the impeller expanded due to the heat built up?
