    Hello all bros and sis!

Below is my 3ft tank, all comments are welcomed.

Thinking of whether or not to tie some ferns and such to the piece of driftwood on the left, but hesitating because it may look too cluttered.

Please give me some suggestions! Cheers!

2 cents thought: You have a nice shaped draftwood... you might want to tie some moss like Taiwan moss and nana on them. I am sure they will look good on it. TW moss and nana are fairly easy to maintain and not demanding plants.

ya, i thought of it before, but if i tie nanas onto the wood, won't it look too cluttered and messy on the left?

i think taiwan moss or maybe christmas moss would be better?

I think your can still add 2-3 mini nana and let it grow up... I think should be fine and won't look over clutter.

I had TW moss and they are simple to grow... they are dark green in color and look very fresh... I am not sure about christmas moss though.

    My two cents dave.
id add a stem plant to the back right corner something to contrast the green fern maybe rotala glandios easy to grow and deep red. move the jave fern toward the right infront but just off center to the left of the rotala leave the grass you have front right in front of the fern possibly circle the fern with your taller grasses then hair grass in forground and in the middle of the tank creating two focal point off to each side. in the space of the stump on the left side group your crypts creating a mass and hair grass or what ever your smaller grass is again infront of those mixing together. Maybe even some grass growing atop of the stump. all in all it's looking good

Not sure if you like to increase the height of the driftwood by tying more driftwood together to make it look like a tree trunk. Then tie some ferns and nanas on it.

See Oliver Knott's 4000L tank, for example.

wow, that's one massive tank! very nice! by increasing the height of the driftwood to resemble a tree trunk, it will not seem too cluttered up if i tie nanas or ferns on it!

this is another great idea! okok, i go experiment. lol. Got a few spare driftwood lying around, maybe it's time to put it to good use.

thanks bro juggler and gbbudd for your valuable input too!
