What is happening to my Malayan shrimp?

I've bought some Malayan shrimps back in Jan this year to get rid of algae problem. As months goes by, mostly seems to have die off. However I was surprised to see this big fella came out of my dense Taiwan moss yesterday. Is this the Malayan schrimp that I have bought back then? Cos Because the 3 yamato that I have are still alive and accounted for.

This fella is blackish brown in colour with a orangy beige colour stripe at its back.

If it is my Malayan schrimp why has it change it colour so drastically? All my other RCS and Yamatos have no chages in colour. Is it because they are not well? Breeding? Or simply due to the water condition?

its quite normal
they are like that and do change colour over time
imo its due to water condition and environment

if you had some more you will notice that the ones that hang out at different corners of the aquarium have different colors
even though you bought them all with the same color

they may also change color more than once
i had one before that changed color 3 times throughout his entire stay in my tank

i'm noticing that mine are changing colour as well...this isn't an indication of poor health right?

my "commando" malayan shrimp that changes colors lasted more than a year with me
