I am currently using a diffuser. If I want to pump my co2 into the filter, does it means that I have to cut the tube and silicon the co2 line to the filter line ?

Is there a neater way to do it ? I am using eheim and the co2 line diameter are quite fine...

    2. reactor size does matter ? bigger = better ?

Do you already have a skimmer?
If you have, you can insert the air tube into the top of your skimmer. I used to do that.

I thought he want to "Pumping CO2 into filter outlet" not inlet

By the way if you pumping CO2 to inlet, there is possibility of CO2 build up in the canister filter causing it to fail.

Actually there are 2 or 3 sizes of reactors. Get the smallest one will do. I'd rather use this than a ceramic diffuser as I can be sure the co2 is absorbed into the water rather than escape into the atmosphere.

I agree with you. Reactor is definitely better than a diffuser. I bought a diffuser and there was a fountain of CO2 bubbles going to the top (most of it not dissolved in the water). I decided to change to a reactor and there was no such problems. CO2 dissolve more thoroughly in the water and I could reduce the CO2 bubble rate. Save money over long term.

It should be enough though I'm using
I like it to be over power because I can alway reduce it with valve or rainbar placement. Also I can re-use it if I want to go to bigger tank.

Anyway others may have better opinion on this.

actually, I was told by a friend that 2232 ecco series may not be enough... he thinks pro series will be better.

well it depend on the flow rate that you are looking for?
    Ecco series is 400 (2232), 500 (2234) and 600L/h (2236) where as pro series start from 500L/h (2222).

erm.. bro, hope you don't mind me borrowing your thread..
guys, is the external reactor joint to the inlet? and flow water flow through the reactor out to the outlet den to the tank? or the other way round? my ceramic diffusor is clogging algae.. therefore im looking for a reactor.. and this seems to be quite a good one..
and also will a 2213 ehiem canister good enought for the reactor?
my tank is a 2ft tank also..

external reactor should be connected to the outlet. If you connect it to inlet, there is possibility that plant debris stuck in the reactor.

Well you can use any filter or any flow rate to run reactor. Question is whether or not there is enough pressure after go through the reactor. For joeyttk case, there is also a chiller.
