particles in water

Anyone here have water with tiny particles floating around. I am quite sure it is not green water as firstly it is not green, nor is it murky. The particles are make the water look quite unsightly sometimes.

I have tested my nitrate level in the tank, it is pretty low.

I have seen many shop's aquarium water, they are like absolutely crystal clear. Any advise on how to achieve crystal clear water.

And how often do you guys clean your filters? And when do you know is the correct time to clean the filter?

I am really grateful to this forum, alot of senior give good advise la.

jus add more filter floss, i 'usually' wash my filter every 1/2 a year.. but sometimes too lazy

Wash you filter when the flow becomes very slow... means your filter is clogged.
