    cool... i'm thinking about my own..but i can't decide on a favourite deserrt place..hmmm..

    1) Buffet : ritz carlton - greenhouse international buffet
    2) Japanese : hmm.. maybe for budget maybe Waraku...but also Sushi Yoshida at killiney if no budget...or maybe just that Okinawan place at tanglin 4th floor
    3) Dessert : hmm.. maybe the temple street mango pudding, seasame paste/walnut paste/fa sang wu or the store next door with its guai leng kau..mmmm..
    3) Commonwealth blk 100+ i think... hawker centre.. upstairs and quite hidden at the back..NOT the front one..that one sucks. There is this old lady that has been selling dessets for ages!!! only like 60 or 70cents a bowl!! i love her green bean and her Bubur Terigu and Tau suan...at this price i eat all 3 bowls..haha..
    4) Bedok block 85 bar chor mee..the one with soup.. just add chilli and its a good snack!!
    4) Bar chor mee again..but this time dry one.. next to the thompson road crispy prata place.
    5) Ghim moh hawker centre - got char kuay teow, thosai, chee cheong fun, chwee kueh, and duck rice
    5) Toa Payoh lor 1?? - tien tien lai hokkien mee.. also the fish soup in the same hawker centre and maybe muffins after?? kekeke..
    6) Tiong bahru area - centre p's cakes/macaroons...wah... these are good..
    7) Geylang - turtle soup.. and frogs legs...and tim sum..hahaha..
Rochor beancurd close to middle road..
    9) My wonton mee that the auntie at Binjai coffee shop makes for me. my Tong ku ji shi Char sau Wonton (mushroom/shredded chicken/ roasted meat/ wonton) mee...haha...oh.. lemon tea is good here too...yums..
    10) Bak kut teh at balastier... i like the medicinal taste ones..

My favourite place – cheap prawn noodle as they should be. Not those big ones with shells but prawn noodle as it's meant to be last time.

It's near Key Point, at a HDB block behind it, near to the market where they sell army stuff. Sorry don't know exact address.

The soup is very good, no MSG! I know because when I take MSG, my tongue feels funny. This one, I drank the whole bowl of soup and I am fine.

    1. White pepper crab at Mattar Road Seafood (which is located in Old Airport Rd market)
    2. Ya Hwa Bak Kut Teh, near Havlock Rd
    3. Ah Zhui Zhu Zar Tang, along Upper Changi Rd (he adds Martel to his soup)
    4. Chai Chee Porridge, at the famous 85 Bedok North market
    5. MacDonald's susage Mcmuffin with egg.
    6. Haig Rd, very old coffeeshop, near the old Hollywood cinema, Char Kway Teow.

These are my favourite, with the exception of the porridge, the rest are all quite unhealthy.

There was a bak choy mee at Marina food court last time. Had to queue forever. Heard it moved to Lavander now. Anyone has any idea?

Ranmasatome, let me get the block number of the HDB and post it, don't have to search. It's near my work place!

Anyway, for Chi-Cha, you all may want to try Hee-It at Thompson road, opposite Longhouse. It's good and economical. Try the beef kway teow with black bean sauce and their 'home-made tofu.' Two tongues up.'

There were quite a few stall in the Ang Mo Kio St 61 market that serve very good food. Namely, the Chicken Rice (Q confirmed longer than the bak cho mee in Marina Square, anyway I tasted before the mee before, nothing to scream about), Wu Xiang, desert stall... etc.
Unfortunately, the whole market was burnt to ashes in a recent fire. I just hope that the same stalls will come back in a year time when they set up the temporary market.

I also love the seafood salad in Jackplace Ang Mo Kio, black pepper crab at Still Road, Nasi Ayam (ponyet or something) at Changi Village and fish head steam boat at Ang Mo Kio Blk 359 (I think, its along Ave 10 near a 7-11)...

Buffet wise, I think no where else beat Ritz...

PS: Always wanted to try the claypot rice near C328 but the waiting is always so frightening...
    Cheers and Regards,
    Billy Cheong

Eh breakfast buffet at Delifrance. Or Guey Chap at Sembawang Hills hawker centre, not oily and the "guey" is smooth and soft, think they only sell till about noon.

Then there's mee siam at a coffeshop opposite Ang Mo Kio Hub, Blk 347 if i'm not wrong.

Also "Zai lai" curry fish head along Sembawang Road, opposite where Sembawang Shopping Centre used to be(Sembawang Shpping Centre is closed for renovation).Think the road name should be Jln Legundi.
Oh ya the fried chicken here is good too.

Nothing exotic, just my humble contributions.
