you can pretty much buy pencil fishes whenever you like... noboday is going to dictate that you can't buy them in the afternoon or in the morning only can buy...or december cannot buy..must only buy in janurary.
I think he either typoed the"when" (meaning to type "where" instead) or meant to ask when they are in season if they are seasonal
I have no idea when they are in season, but i do know that C328 and Biotope do bring them in from time to time. Someone mentioned in another thread that he saw 3 different types of pencilfish in Biotope recently. Why don't you give them a call to ask if the dwarf pencilfish is one of them?

Wow bro, im also looking for pencil fishes leh. Yup, think i heard my friend saying biotope have some. I will be going down this wkend to get myself afew pieces, so pls dun snatch them all away.
