Well for starters here is a simple one to start off with

Not By me btw but I'm using a similar method
    http://www.aquamoss.net/How%20to%20create%20a%20moss%20wall/How%20to%20create%20a%20moss%20wall.htm

Second half of my tank is a wall of subwassertang (luma fern).
It is tied to a plastic mesh using a 0.3 mm fishing line, need alot of patience there tying it.

    Hope this helps

Many thanks, looks just like i am looking for. Putting the moss behind the mesh makes sense, i probably would not have thought of that. Do you think java moss would work as well ?

It would work but I reckon Christmas moss or spiky moss will look better.(Any moss with triangular fronds)

Once you have been both mosses. Its quite easy to tell the diff. Christmas moss look like christmas trees leaves hence the leafs. Spike moss on the other hand just poke out randomly.

I personally wont advise you to use flame moss as a wall. They create a flaming effect by growing upwards. Instead i would recommend you use moss that creates a cascading effect for the moss wall. Ex. Christmas, spike, taiwan. Use flame moss and tie them to wood or stones. It would look nicer in my opinion.

Compared to Spiky, Christmas moss is of lighter shade of green, and the texture is a fair bit tougher.

Spiky moss does have triangular fronds if it is grown attached to something and not left in loose form.
