If the hobby were the same all over the world, it would be pretty boring. So Jeremy Gay was determined to squeeze in a couple of reader visits when he visited Singapore’s Aquarama recently.

Update: It seems that the article cannot be found anymore. Either that, or PFK has re-organised their website and the 'More...' link below does not work anymore. Some of us have tried searching on PFK website, but to no avail. Fortunately, Benny posted scans of the printed article in our gallery when it came out in August 2007.

Ok, who wants to mess up his room. Just give me a yell .

Wilson, which main tank? The 3footer? The video clip shows an A. wilhelmi "purple chin" in my 3footer. At the end of the clip is the wild A. bitaeniata "Mamuri" in one of the partitions.

Eugene, I can only say I envy your fish room. Looks like a pet shop specialising on apistos. How often are your trips to Hong Kong? Do you order live fish direct from Germany as well?

By the way Eugene, may I know where you bought the rack for the apisto tanks. I'm thinking of maybe a similar setup too. My tanks are all over the place.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.

    To Rob
I do not go to HK that often and i do not order direct from Germany. Some of my apistos are bought locally. Some are bought during MO threads here.

    To limchongyu
I got the racks from a LFS that was closing down. It was custom made by the owner and i bought over it.

    Yo Eugene..

Your tanks are simply fantastic, neat and save so much space.. If only I can be as lucky as you are.. Able to locate a local fish stall that is selling his clearance tank racks similar to yours..

    Regards
    Samuel

This is the current setup of the rack that i "improved" couple of months back. Can now sleep with the tank lights on since the boards now block the glare of the lights.

Just wondering why did you custom made the tanks with quite a height?

So that i do not need to cover the tanks even when i keep bettas? ...

Well, initially, its to make up for the volume of water since they are kept in small partitions. But after i over-filtrate my tanks, i lowered the water level considerably.
