continuing from previous.
first, its not a bother at all. we are all learning how to tame this plant heee :P
anyway, i got sick of them floating them all over the place, so decided to give up and try something else. Like alot of people are saying here. maintenace is required to keep them down. I have failed on that, so let those have the patient advise
now have my eyes fix on elatine, waiting for Teo to have enough stock hee :P
I think that the riccia is the most bubbly plant i'v known. correct me if i'm wrong. I'v seen my tiger lotus, xmas moss and other plants bubble under photosynthesis but they don't look half as good :P
all my plants even my xmass moss are bubbling but seems that riccia bubbles the most, probable because it has the most stalks.
Its definitely a very nice plant, just maintenance very siong. My 3/4 tank of riccia have to retie very soon. I tried putting gravel and dropping those stainless steel net on top, all also ended up short term solutions. I find trimming regularly the best solution, but of course the water surface full of plants very troublesome.
