Where can I get/make acrylic tank?

May i ask what's your reason for doing so? I posted a similar question sometime back and was informed about the cons about getting one. Firstly, it is going to cost you a bomb as a tank that big in acrylic has to be in at least thickness of at least 15mm and above to prevent wrapping. and acrylic that thick aren't cheap. secondly, acrylic are not as scratch resistant as glass.

My 2 cents worth of advice. there could be more but if you do have the contacts and managed to get one done, do share with us the details.

by the way, shouldn't this post be in equipment and accessories?

My thread was moved here by a moderator I believe... I previously posted on Newbie Section.

I currently have a standard 4ft tank using "normal" float glass... I must say that the clarity is not there... and the greenish tone is a turn-off too... a Starphire glass tank will probably cost more than an acrylic tank of the same size.

Just exploring only... I found a company... will contact them to get a quote
