Siamese Algae Eater

I have a few small turf of BBA on my plants and though their growth has been brought under control, I would like to remove them without damaging the leaves. I do not want to dose too much Excel as I am afraid of killing my shrimps. I read that SAE sometimes consume BBA but it may also eat moss. I would like to find out how extensive damage this fellow will do to my matured DWs with flame moss and us fissiden before deciding to deploy one or not. Any brothers with such experience?

My SAE did not eat fissidens, but he sure clean up those flame moss. That was after he finished cleaning those algaes.

SAE might cause stress to your shrimps as they swim rather fast and fight for food.
