    hi guys.. just to share.. my newly aquired apisto from exotic_idiot.
    this pair is being kept in a 1ft cube tank.
    rougly around 3 hours after being let into tank.. still getting used to the new tank.

    a lousy picture of him flaring.. he was acctually not moving while flaring at the female.. took this picture when he moved to chase the female

    The bad news is they have fries in the tank but the parent are sold?

    hmm.. ben told me they spawned in his tank before..
    but fries eaten by other fishes.. hopefully im able to breed this pair!

    Worse than that... Last night i wanted to decom my tank, flip my pot and i saw eggs... Sianz... Don't know whether they will hatch or not???

    Because if you have taken the pair from me earlier they would lay their eggs in your tank... And confirm they will spawn sooner or later depends on how much TLC you provide them... I guess within a week... If fast

    haha.. its okay man.. you scared me!
    haha... but i guess if they would have laid the eggs in my tank within 3 days.. i won't know what to do. haven't read up on fries raising yet

    anyway..
    just feed them NLS food.. both are eating.. male keep flaring at female.. and female is turning slightly yellowish..
    will take more picture later =)

    don't need to worry about breeding them, it'll happen tris are one of the easier species to breed

    it usually takes 1.5-2 weeks for the female to "recharge", but you never know maybe she's highly productive

    Haha, thats right they must be super "high". my hongsloi pair is still recharging, the male is always pestering the female too. so to say, evo, u got a good pair of apisto there. nice elongated finnage for the male.

    hi guys...have been taking quite a few picture of the male flaring.. sadly this turned out the best which is still lousy.. will continue to try for a clear pic



    the male have been flaring at her and she is hiding here.. keep on picking on the substrate.. she trying to build a cave?
