Crypts melting is a common thing, water quality could still be an issue even though runners are being sent out.
In regards to the ramshorn, if you have fish, crush the smaller snails on the glass for a snack.
Hi, it’s first time to post a thread on a forum. I have two problems. The first problem is that I have crypt Noritoi and it seems to do well but the leaf do not last for very long and melt away. It also gets little holes all over the leaf before it melts. I know people might say water quality is the issues, but it is sending out new runner around itself. The second problem is that I introduced ram horn snails to keep algae down in the tank and now I wish I wouldn’t have done that because there everywhere. I want to get them out and have them show up anymore. I need some help and I do not want to lose my plants.

Add some K+ into your water. Introduce some freshwater puffers.
