Did you know that mosquito rasbora is actually Boraras brigittae?
what?!?!any other fish likes to have mosquito for lunch??
i think Quixotic wasw trying to point out to you that there's a thread about where to find Boraras brigittae just below yours, and since mosquito rasbora is Boraras brigittae, you can find the information you need there
It will be good to specify how big is your "pond" so that others can provide better advice (since a "pond" is not exactly a pond).![]()
i can contribute 3 guppies who will take care of any mosquito problem haha. let me know if it is convenient for u to pick up in AMK
Bro,
You need to clarify if you are just looking for some "mosquito eating"
fish or specifically for mosquito rasbora as per your thread title.
There is a mosquito rasbora but is a rather small fish. I am not too
sure if it can swallow mosquito larva and if it does, how effective it is.
If your main aim is to ensure that your pond is not a mosquito producing factory, would recommend guppies, platies, etc. They are cheap and effective.
Cheers!
I remember seeing a bag of mosquito rasbora (boraras urapthamoides? pardon the spelling) at SeaView.
A bag of 100 for only $10? Anyways very cheap
Eh ? i was there 2 weeks back, no boraras...
The urapthamoides are goldish in color while brig is a nice deep red tone. Both are nice to have.
the always place ads saying they have, today is saturday lets look at the papers today to check.
I also feel like getting but 100pc tooo many, any bros want to share.?
Ive already got mine last week although some have a more deeper tone than the rest, wonder if they are female.
