    Hello,

I've having trouble growing MM in my tank. The first batch I planted showed some new growth at the tips of the stems but everything below that totally melted.

I'm also surprised that my limnophila, a plant I thought was quite undemanding, is growing very leggy with long internodal length.

    Tank specs - 2ft x 1 ft x 1.5ft, 79 watts for 9 hrs a day, CO2 injection, ferts once a week

    What am I missing?

    Thank you.

    Hi,
i suspect it might be a problem of not enough ferts for plant growth (long internodes) and the high amount of light pumped into the tank.. try to increase your dosing to once every 3 days at least ..so around twice a week.

You have rather high wattage for a 2 feet as well.

    cheers!
