There was some sighting of Aspidoras spp. recently at C328, but it is not A. pauciradiatus.

Haven't seen these fellas anywhere for some time now since I saw them about the same period as you, I guess.

    Hi..

Ya.. Hope they will arrive soon.. These little fellow can easily comms with other dwarf corydoras like hasbrosus, hastatus and pygmaeus as they remain small..

    HI Samuel,

You may want to go down and ask Ah Ben at WU HU aquarium whenever he has stock coming in for Aspidoras pauciradiatus. I do agree that they are nice small fishes that mix well with other small cories. As for the Aspidoras spp, Biotope still have a few i think...at the bottom tank, together with their Caca red apisto.

A long time ago I asked an LFS owner why his usual supplier did not bring in these small Aspidoras pauciradiatus. His supplier's reply was, they do not ship very well, hence the mortality rate is high. So they never took in this species often.

I would however love to own some, ever since I saw a picture of them in a small tropical fish book I bought many years ago.

    Hi Stormhawk..

It really depends on shipment.. I once bought them 2 years back.. They were very fragile.. Almost all died within a week time.. However, for those I recently purchased from C328 few months back.. They are much more hardy than the previous batch..

You are correct, it depends on the shipment. But like you said, quality differs from batch to batch. Are the ones you bought from C328 still alive up till now?

Sad to hear that. Hopefully you'll try and breed the remaining 3.
