    Hi Bros

anyone has the experience with torpedoes hiding behind plants? I have 4 torpedoes by 2 days ago one of them have been hiding behind my plants for some time. I gently push him out of his hding place to inspect him but found on unsual symptoms on him. after a while he will go back to his hiding place any idea why?

I don't think it is agression cause my torpedoes are the biggest fish in the tank.

They are generally peaceful but some have been reported to be (just) slightly aggressive. There may be some pecking order in your barbs (as with most schooling fishes), and that specimen may be of lower rank.

What is the tank size anyway? They do better in larger tank sizes, so provide as large a tank as possible.

One other thing is that, this fish can be jumpy, so a lid may be necessary.

I have a 3 feet tank. The worrying thing is that I have not seen this specimen feed since it started to hide among the plants. Had 1 casualty in a dead SAE recently and not sure if it is because of the water condition.
