I was there 1 year back, sharing this photo taken last year. We were lucky not to meet with the quake.

    C & C welcome.

    Cheers!

    Benetay,
Guess I would want to remember it this way. Very nice picture and the cute cute pandas. Looks like the first panda is blowing on a flute!
    Well done.

Thanks Richard, everyone was at the front area taking pictures of them heads on. There were shoving & pushing. Cursing & swearing just to take a picture of them. Switch from the 17-40 to the 24-105 & move 4m away.

Saw some very angry photographers & people were quite unhappy. I was smiling away~

Thanks for viewing, you've got great imagination.

Now after the earthquake, i'm not sure if the panda area is still in good shape.

    cheers!

Billy you are right, it's not in focus, shot it at 1/15s. Surprisingly 4R print out was okay.

    Thanks for viewing.

Love the surreal blue water... the fore ground and back ground really allow it to stand out.

I haven't got the chance to see live panda yet. Are they a little off white or are my tired eyes playing tricks on me? But they're really cute. Am sure my daughter would love the photos of your pandas.

Thanks for viewing Justin, it's almost postcard picture with every shot when the sun shines in the water. Taken with a CPL to reduce reflection.

Wish i could swim in there, sadly it's a nasty fine if you do so.
    Cheers!

There are plenty of fishes in it at one section of the river. It's daunting how they can survive in such calcium rich water. It's said that the water came from the ice cap mountain brushing rocks & grinding them into fine powder thus giving them the bluish appearance. I'm not very sure maybe someone who knows it can give us an idea.

On the other hand, if someone push you down, you will not be fine for it. I will be more then happy if someone does so.

Nice shot of the pandas! Already shooting at 1/15s? Otherwise, I wish you could have attach a polariser to cut down the reflection from the waxy leaves and grass.

I could have open up a little to f/5.6 or f/5.0 with the same shutter & add a CPL. It might work. Didn't thought of that when i was there. No excuse though.

    Thanks for viewing!
