Took some shots at the botanic gardens yesterday..just wondering.. which do you prefer??


Background and subject normal lighting


Background brighter and subject normal


Background brighter and lighted subject

So which one you guys prefer?

Would prefer #1, or one with a darker background. Maybe it's the bokeh.

haha, must ask permission before I give comments

1) background cluttered/messy, distract from the subject
2) I can see only slight differences between the three photo, but not drastic difference to make a difference
3) Composition is off, too much space on the left and subject is abeit too close to the center of the Y axis (will illustrate a more ideal compose)

To add, I prefer even darker and background and hopefully the tail a bit more sharp but background a bit more blur.

1) Agreed totally....
2) Ya la... very slight but still got mah.. thats why i so undecided and was wondering if die die no choice which one will i choose... thats why i don't know and ask which ones you guys prefer mah...
3) haha.. guess what i had another picture with that exact same pose and position..but i deleted it..hahaha.. but i know about the empty space.. that was done on purpose because i wanted to fill in with some words and stuff....so left a lot of space there.

Thanks Luenny....i can shoot with sharper tail but background more blur i dont know how leh..
