Hi all, I have been fascinated with planted tanks for quite a few years yet tried and failed quite a number of times. Few months back i finally took the plunge to invest in recommended equipment like 54W light and a 2nd hand CO2 tank, and after battling initial algae problems, my planted shrimp tank is now doing well and thriving.. the foreground water grass that i planted is growing everywhere, my background plant i have to prune every week. just today i spotted little shrimplets in the tank! this is definitely a high point for me in this hobby. Thanks all for the advice and guidance!

i have a 2 ft tank and a small high tank..

The 2 ft one has all sorts fauna in it: neon tetra, cherry barb, SAE, ottos, algae eaters, amano shrimp, cherry shrimp and sakura shrimp.. I seperated some of my sakura shrimp which are pregnant, about 6 in total. I already spotted a few shrimplets in the tank though.. My scaping of the plants quite plain, not very artsy fartsy like amano style scaping. The flora I am not sure what exactly i have: maybe seniors can help identify.. i only know for sure java moss and nana plant thats all.

The smaller set up is a simple low tech set up in my room which i did because my hands were itchy. it has a few cherry shrimp, baby guppies and an otto. the plants are java moss and some grass thats all..

guys feel free to comment thanks!
