are narrow and needle leaf java ferns different types? or are they just 2 different names for the same type?

narrow length up to 10sm and is little bit wider
needle length 20-25sm

Nope. They are different plants. However, in the local context, people do not differentiate between the two and is used interchangeably to describe Needle leaf.
Narrow leaf is not widely distributed in Singapore.
Needle leaf is quite variable in the width and length, depending on the growth conditions.
