Can Arctia or Teco chillers be kept in the cabinet below the tank?

Hi, I recently just got back into the hobby after taking a 3 year hiatus. My daughter came along and I simply didn't have the time to tend to my tank. Well, last week, the wife decided that it was time I "re-started" my 3ft tank again so that my girl can enjoy it. Ok, back to the point, I realised that the weather has been really hot lately and my re-started tank is measureing 31 degrees, at this kind of temperature, no moss will survive in my tank, so the idea of getting a chiller came back again. Question : can the Arctia or Teco chillers be kept in the cabinet below the tank ? I'm not too keen on having a chiller left outside less my girl's itchy fingers messes with it.Thanks

Does your cabinet have air vents? If so, it should be fine.

P.S. Was your tank left dry during the past 3 years? If so, please take care and check that the seals are still safe.

Hi Bossteck - my cabinet has a 8cm diameter hole at the back for the wires and tubings. Not sure if that's enough ventilation.
My tank wasn't excatly dried out, it just wasn't tended to. First the CO2 tank emptied, then with no CO2, the plants started dying off, then the lights went out, then the filter choked from lack of cleaning, after that the fishes died one by one till there was only one Yamato shrimp left. The water was left to evaporate till 1/4 tan was left

Despite all this, I checked the joints and all seems fine, no leaks so far
