    ?!?! Then do you first shave the hairs on the skin of the kiwi before you swallow it?!?! [Singapore's version of "FEAR FACTOR"???] LOL!!!

    Surely not trying this feat like uklau... over my LIVE body!!!

    Actually, eating KIWI can be a breeze without having to skin its hairy skin bro... Here's the method that I'm using:

    A Step-by-Step guide to eating KIWI:
    Step 1: Cut the KIWI into 2 halves with a knife;
    Step 2: With a spoon (teaspoon if you prefer), dig into the flesh of the 1st half of the KIWI fruit [carefully scrap the flesh out without tearing the skin - this takes some practice... ];
    Step 3: When done with the first half, proceed to do so with the 2nd half;
    Step 4: When finished eating both halves, dispose of the skin into the dustbin;
    Step 5: Wash the spoon (teaspoons) after use & replace for future use.

    NOTE: Please do try to remember to complete Steps 4 & 5, if not, it may lead to other family problems also... LOL!!!

    Hope this helps bro Elmike!!! By the way, KIWI is a great source for Vitamin C, so I guess that may be one reason why Mrs Elmike is 'dumping' KIWIs into your fridge...

    Cheers!!

    [PS: If anyone has any problem following the above Step-by-Step guide, I'll be more than glad to provide a more comprehensive pictorial guide of each step..... As I also have ALOT of KIWIs waiting to turn rotten in my fridge!!! LOL!!! ]

    That's the way I eat my mango too. Only difference is there is still the seed to handle.

    You don't eat mango skin meh! I also eat papaya skin.

    Think it's been years since I last eat a mango. Have a mango tree at home (mauritius).

    Gentlemen! Baby steps please! Durians are the top most level, above pineapples and coconuts. Start with grapes.

    And elmike. Try to stop that habit. Definately not cool to see a bleeding crocodile dundee.

    actually, I too eat kiwi fruit by halving it then using a teaspoon.

    For mango, slice the sides of the fruit then use a knife and draw cubes into the flesh, remember not to pierce through the skin, after that, push gently from the external towards the internal and the flesh will pop out.

    Actually I know the least messiest way to eat a mango. Taught by my dive buddy when we where on a LOB.

    Take 1 ripe mango.
    Gently massage and press it all round.
    Feel free to make corny jokes and comments meanwhile.
    Do not at anytime break the skin.
    Continue to massage and press for as long as you can.
    If procedure is well executed, it should have a consistant liquid like feeling(like a water balloon or silicon implant).
    Bite a small hole at the tip of the fruit and suck/squeeze out mango puree.

    Haha, Maybe i grew up differently. We went around when we were 'bad' kids, wandering near fences, and stealing mango from the garden of other people. Once we got one, we immediately will eat on the spot, skin altogether.

    He he.

    I cannot eat hold durian properly without getting hurt. Last week, I tried durian for the first time. Had to say it was more fear than 'harm'. I ate 5-6 lumps (not whole fruit), and it was very nice.

    Think we lost track in this thread about catching snails

    Cheers, Christophe

    Ha! Ha! Bro, that's why our Moderator - Quixotic - had to move this thread to here as we are really off topic as PohSan had initially intended... A New & Creative way to Catch Snails with Kiwi Skins...

    As for durians, faced the same problems as you also... [The amount of durain consumed is never enough to compensate the amount of blood lost from getting pricked by it!!!]. Hence had switched to buying those ready plucked & packed durians in styrofoam boxes these days... If only one day they even help us to remove the seeds... LOL!!!

    Thanks, Beetlejuice. She's now 13 weeks old.

    He he he. Tried eating Kiwi with the skin but it's golden Kiwi. Not too bad although I still perfer eating without skin to fully enjoy the texture of the flesh.

    My mom followed & never complained anything

    Hey, how come I never thought that for mango. I used to do that to banana when I was young .

    Eating durian? Here comes the durian king. I remembered few years back when I was at my father in-law's durian farm. Eating durian all day long until the following day passed out durian poo . No joking, WHITE stool!

    Perhaps we can organise a AQ durian eating day
