Need expert advice. Any idea what is the minimum glass thickness for planted tank? Example for 3ft tank, will a 6mm thick glass tank enough?

Are asking this for a braceless tank? There's a huge difference in glass thickness for braceless tank.
    Cheers,

3 feet my recommendation is 8 to 10mm It's not too big. 4ft braceless normally 10-12mm other then that, it's best to have brace.

    Cheers!

My 4 ft tank also 12mm with "brace". Already using this tank for about 8 years. Wondering how long could a tank last.

The "braceless" one like those from ADA it definitely nice to look at. But without the brace, will it be strong enough to hold the water over time? I am not sure.

12mm for 4x2x2 is ok for braceless. i've spoken to 4 tank makers and all are confident. one even gave me a 10 year warranty on it

    for a 3ft, i think 10mm is very safe
