For convenience, it is better to buy sea salt to set up the marine tank.
hi all seniors, i have alot questions about marine.
firstly, is a covered tank or a open one better? heard the areas near would be sticky due to evaporation.
buying sea water or mixing it own self would be a better and cheaper solution. thinking of starting a one feet marine tank.
do i need any special items? such as chiller . good pumps. and lightings?
any nice guys out there would like to tell me around how to go about setting it up!
thanks in advance![]()

Cristiano, please do your own research in regard to marine upkeeping. This part of the hobby will bite you back if you have not done your homework. There are a lot of ways to go about in setting up a marine tank and it all depend on the individual preference and budget. Starting a marine setup with such a small tank is not a good idea in my opinion.
