Eheim filter pump not working

Big problem, I suspect my Eheim filter pump is not working. I could not start the water flow after using the priming support(I'm using 2026)Is there other way to test the pump? If the pump is not working, where can I turn to repair the pump?

Use your hand to feel whether the motor head is moving..(you should feel some light vibration). Try shaking your filter as air pockets might be causing problems causing your filter not to work properly. If all fails, you should get it back to where you bought the filter if it is still under warranty.

eerhhh what exactly do you mean by not working?.....as in no movement at all (completely dead) or is the impeller spinning but no water is filtered?...if it is the first problem, can you use a different electrical appliances to confirm that there is current flowing from the source point. If not you may have to take it back to wherever you bought it from to get it repaired.

open the filter again, there should be a green plate. ensure that it is facing the right direction or the lump in the center my jam the impeller....ensure that the the rubber in the impeller chamber is still in tact as sometimes it may have dropped off without your noticed. check the catch that secures the impeller to the chamber...sometimes if it is not 'clicked' on properly it may not start...
