    Just set up a small tank in office desk, its Ocean free tank 7"x 6"x 5".

    tank without light, filter and Co2.
    - temp 24C
    - Keeping 8 Cherry shrimp only,

    You can DIY your filter with a basic sponge filter and an air pump, you might need a bleeder valve to control the air outflow since the tank is really small. I doubt those hang on filters are suitable for this setup, they would be too big to handle.

    There are some really good LED lightings in good LFS just for nano tanks.

    Just to share. There's one type of hang on filter by 'Ocean Free' which one of the bro here (JadeIceGreen) used on his 7"x 6"x 5" set up. I saw it when I visited him last week.

    since its just for Shrimp i will not install any filter cos there is only less then 20pcs of shrimp.

    i will just get a clip on light will do. try to keep it as low tech as possible.

    Some nice hang ons for this size are ocean free mini, red sea's nano filter, boyu mini and Hagen's aquaclear mini

    bought a MOo Moo light for this small tank, now it look better with lighting.
