I am using wonder-gro macro and micro for some time on my planted tank and there's no adverse effects on my shrimps. You should give it a try too.
Is Anyone using Flourish micro on shrimp tank? Thought I saw small qty of cu content in it. Is it harmful to shrimp? Anyone can advise?

There is copper in that fert which is harmful to shrimp, however dose conservatively and they should Be fine as the amounts in one dose are not lethal But may Be accumaltively harmful

Windcharm,
Depends on whether your leaning towards a shrimp "breeding" tank or a planted HC tank. HC isnt an easy plant to grow, requires frequent dosing NPK+ trace. Trace = copper which isnt too ideal for shrimps.
Most people go with moss/java ferns with shrimps.
I have a HC tank but have never introduced shrimps.
