    hi to all fish lover,

    Can any bro know what is the different between Altum and anglefish ?

    is the same ? or just different name ?

    cause think to buy some to keep in my planted .

    please advise .

    altum is also a type of angel fish, but they are mainly wild caught, as not many can breed them because of their specific requirements.

    also their features are definite, like the notch on their nasal aread and the dark spot on the side of the forehead and their antenna like dorsals.
    also altums grow to a large size, think their top to bottom fins can span throught 18 inches.

    altums are also very difficult to keep alive, not to mention even go to breeding them.
    And of course, their cost is very expensive compared to the normal domestic bred angels.

    really nice young altums.i tried keeping them before, but they are really sensitive to water changes.the slightly bigger ones are better for me...
