Stopped doing tanks awhile back, but suddenly had a itch again to start.
Decided to start a small tank in my room, didn't have time to do a step-by-step journal but decided to share some pics of its progress after 28 days.

Will try to update with new pics every now and then.

    Cheers! =)

Haven't started fert regime yet, just Co2 injection for the last month.

For this scape using Christmas moss and TaIwan moss.

true.. moss tend to grow fatter and lusher with co2.. and when they bubble.. they simply are the most beautiful plants!

mind sharing the conditions in your tank like the watt of light and temperature? the moment i tried using CO2 with moss, algae will start to appear.

I'm running a single 18w PL tube on the tank.
Temperature wise i managed to keep it aorund 25-26'c

I do get algae attacks every now and then too but i usually do a water change if it happens and trim out the infested bits.

The addition of the Narrow-leave Java fern is quite interesting... it breaks the monotonous effect quite effectively... yet not too overpowering.

As for shrimps... do you intend to add colours to your tank? If the temperature is within good range, you can even keep pure White CRS If you want red, Cherry is fun to keep as they breed like...err... Cherry shrimps!
