I know some of You, as I, love small colorful fishes. I bought 5 of this small tetra, who shall be brood caring, like dwarf cichlids.

Anyone of You have any experience of this fish

Hi Par,

I find them to be very fragile. I used to own 6 of them. Even when given the right conditions they will not survive if they don't feed on the food you give them. They seem to be attracted to small live foods like BBS and daphnia and occasionally tubifex worms.

They don't do well with tank mates like other tetras. Keep only with slow-moving non-aggressive fish in a tank with an acidic pH and lots of plant cover.
