Hi everyone being relatively new here I just wanted to thank everyone I have met through Killies.com. Some wonderful people hang around here, sorry to those I have irritated or annoyed No real harm meant.

An extra special thanks to Selena (Wonder woman - and a fish pro!) for getting me here and putting up with me, Ronnie for being generous in everyway possible and just a great guy, and to KL for providing the forum and keeping me on my toes

Jianyang, Keehoe, Wright I look forward to many friendly arguments and debates in future. Great to get to know you all - everyone that hangs around here!

As a little thankyou I am posting some crap pics so you can all get an idea of what I have been up to.

    Killifish everywhere!

Tanks on the ground at the moment, racks coming for 2006 but I still have to assemble a train set before sunday! The glass tank is S.constanciae, a fry tray and nothos in the old plastic tank.

Lots of cultures of different creatures... With a Scottish flag on the wall

Another row of tanks, I think hanging around Ronnie is having its effects..

    Some nice fish...

N.palmqvisti 'Murima' Just collected a few hundred eggs from these guys.

N.rachovii 'Nicuadala' A young 1" F1 colouring up, but not easy to get a good pic of them, distorted when he swam in the corner.

    S.magnificus anyone? Selena's babies!

Thanks again to everyone! Getting to know you all has added a whole new side to keeping the fish. Best wishes for 2006 to everyone!

    Scott.
    Thanks again,

Yes, I do recognize certain influences by Ronnie! I wouldn't call these
crap pics, Scott...quite enjoyable! And if I possibly maybe sort of said
something that was hurtful, I apologize, too. Happy Holidays!

Hi Scott, Do i always argue? Well, i just like to throw more rediculous idea into every discussion. Who knows, it might come out to be a real revolusion.

Great picture. That makes me feel like breaking into your house for a good look at these cuties.

To tell the truth, I find some of your posts highly irritating, Scott. But I wish there were more of you around.

Happy Holidays. All the best to you and your family.

2005 wasn't the best killie year; egg harvest was pathetic and the cool Monsoon season was later than usual. Still, I shouldn't complain... it could have been far worse.

Personally, the draw of killie-keeping has mostly been the sharing and camaraderie, without which, the hobby would be an isolated, lonely hobby.

I haven't time to shoot new fishy pics lately but here's something that came in the mail and thought I'd share it with all who has made this forum a cosy home.

"Here's a 'secret' recipe for a good year next.

TAKE twelve whole months, clean them thoroughly of bitterness, hate and jealously. Make them just as fresh and clean as possible.

CUT each month into 28, 30 or 31 different parts but don't make up a whole batch at once, prepare it one day at a time.

TAKE the following ingredients, mix well into each day---one part of faith, one part of patience, one part of courage and one part of work.

ADD to each day one part of hope, faithfulness, generosity and kindness.

BLEND with one part of prayer, one part of meditation and one part of good deeds.

SEASON the whole with a dash of good spirits, a sprinkle of fun, a pinch of play and a cupful of good humour.

POUR this into a vessel of love, cook thoroughly over radiant joy, garnish with smiles and serve with quietness, unselfishness and cheerfulness"

Merry Christmas to all and have a great year ahead. Cheerios!!!
I'm back & keeping 'em fingers wet,
    Ronnie Lee

Scott, your collection is beginning to outshine mine but no problem, I've been spending more time with my Zoids collection than my killies but still harvesting eggs on a regular basis.

Merry Xmas, if its not too late yet and best wishes for you and your family.

P.S. Where's my present in the mail? *hint* param--ium

    Jianyang,
Don't worry you will get them , had an outbreak of Rotifers and Moina so under control now and caught up in other things. Sorry for the delay, as I know I said I would send you some.
I am still trying to figure out what zoids are though...

    Scott.
    Thanks again,

Scott, your kid might probably know what Zoids are. They're basically mechanised model kits.
