    Hi all

This is an early Christmas present. Go see http://tgenade.freeshell.org/killibook. I look forward to any constructive advice.

Merry Christmas from the mad science teacher in sunny South Africa.

I haven't have time to read through every page but I must say I'm very impressed. Great work, Tyrone. I'm sure every Killifish enthusiast will find your book useful.

Thanks for the praise, but I can't believe the book is so perfect that there are no suggestions for corrections or improvement.... Also, I would love more info for each species so it can maybe be built up into an encyclopedia or something...

    Thanks again

Hey Tyrone, I have gone through a few pages so far and the only mistakes I see are a few minor spelling related ones I will send a detailed critique once I've read through the whole thing (along with a bill for my editorial services :P)

I can't believe I'm still seeing LATEX! This is something I used almost 20 years ago!
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

LaTeX is alive an well. It enjoys a valued existence mainly in University Maths and Physics departments. If I had not done a biochemistry project involving a lot of maths I would never of happened upon it. It is so superior to anything else out there when it comes to long documents or anything with maths. Inserting pictures, and creating simple pictures is a pain, but its that way with all programs right now.

Inserting pics in Word is the worst!

I look forward to receiving back those spelling errors. My spelling sucks and spell checkers are not all that wonderful... particularly with typos like "the" turning into "teh", or "from" to "form".

    Thanks and tt4n

    Hi Tyronne,

Very interesting in fact a few non killie nuts have read through it and at least 1 is thinking of keeping killies, so as far as that goes it is a masterpiece.

Nice, LaTex!! I have to agree with you, nothing beats it! I write all my documentation and articles in LaTex, and I can export them in any format I want (plus it's very UNIX-friendly :-)). I'll give it a read!
