I think that the first moss is Ambylostegium serpens (finnish lehtoritvasammal). Moss you bought as Fissidens fontanus...well it's Fissidens fontanus (finnish vellamonsammal). It would be easier to ID mosses if you would have some microscope pictures. Here in my site is some microscope pictures of mosses. Unfortunetly I haven't yet write anythig of mosses.

It's funny you have those two plant species on your desk. I have a large, old (I think it's from 1993?) Zamioculcas and some red mangroves (getting big) in my front window.

Sadly, mbeyond the Fissidens fontanus, I have no idea what your mosses might be.

    1. - I don't think it is Amblystegium serpens
    2. - I'm quite sure it is Flame moss.
    3. - I don't think it is Spiky moss.
    4. - I don't think it is Singapore moss.
    5. - I can only say it is moss from genus Fissidens .
    6. - I'm sure it is Fissidens fontanus.
    7. - I can only say it is moss from genus Taxiphyllum (may be Taiwan moss).
    8. - I'm quite sure it is moss from "Drepanocladus aduncus group" .

I know that thread is quite old and maybe not actual any more... but no.5 is Fissidens nobilis for me. I'm looking at this fissidens at the moment, so I'm quite sure
