Hi Friends,

My Brichardis (Started with a group of 12, 2" fishes) have grown well and are healthy. I also find that multiple pairs have formed and have selected their breeding nests also.

I have noticed about 4 to 5 spawns (eggs in the nests) but not one of them have hatched. Last time a pair spawned, the eggs were green in color and after 2 or 3 days, they turned white and disappeared. I read that eggs turning white are a sign of Fungus / infertile eggs. Today once again, I've seen 2 batches of eggs (of different pairs) and they all are pure white and disappearing fast. I also see that these guys are not defending their eggs / nests from other fish (other brichardis and frontosas).

I really dont understand what could be wrong here and why they arent breeding. I'd love to see a few babies being cared-for by their families (for which the brichardis are so popular)

Kindly guide me regarding this...
Thanks and Regards
Kush
